Flextronics Walk in Interview

Date: 2-6 June 2008
Time: 9 am - 5 pm
Venue: Flectronics PTP

Please bring along a detailed resume, relevant certificates, photocopy of identity cards and a recent photograph (n.r) for the interview session.

a) Manufacturing Manager (Location - PTP)

Responsibilities:

1. Manage molding and assembly operations to achieve manufacturing objectives/goals and good manufacturing practices.
2. Ensure cost and process efficiencies in operations.
3. Lead manufacturing team in day to day operations
4. Work closely with NPI, QA and Engineering team for new project and process improvement
5. Manage, motivate and develop a team of production staffs.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of working experience specializing in injection molding and assembly operations
2. Preferably at least Diploma and above
3. Good production management skills, able to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems
4. Excellent leadership quality and a good team player who is able to work independently and with minimum supervision
5. Preferably Manager experience in production techniques such as lean manufacturing, 5S & six sigma etc.

b) Manufacturing Engineers / Assistant Engineers / Technicians (Location - Senai & PTP)

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Manufacturing Manager in Molding and Assembly operations
2. Setup / Analyze / Optimize molding parameter and take corrective action on molding defects
3. Involve in continuous process improvement activities
4. Knowledge of ISO 9002, 14000, 18000

Requirements:

1. Preferably Secondary/Form 5 education level with at least 1-2 years experience in Plastic and Assembly Industry.
2. Good knowledge in Plastic Injection Molding and Mold maintenance
3. A good team player who is able to work independently and with minimum supervision
4. Good communication and organizing skills
